MICOS joins the Anceferr’s project to support employment opportunities for young migrants

MICOS is among the first companies to participate in the pilot project launched by Anceferr in Basilicata, aimed at integrating young migrants into the railway construction sector.

The initiative was created in response to the growing difficulty in finding qualified workforce and seeks to establish a structured model of training and employment that can be replicated nationwide.

Thanks to the collaboration between companies and industry associations, the project offers integrated training programs, including theoretical lessons, practical on-site experience, and language instruction. As a long-standing player in the sector, MICOS has chosen to actively support the initiative by providing tangible employment opportunities and contributing to the establishment of the “Cantiere-Scuola,” the operational heart of the project.

Through this participation, MICOS reaffirms its commitment to the sector’s sustainable growth and the development of human capital, fostering a model of inclusion and professional development that supports the future of Italy’s railway infrastructure.
